I was nervous at first to order the taro frame because for me it was way more bold than what I’m use to. But after receiving them I absolutely love them and already I have gotten lots of compliments
This is my second pair of glasses from Hip Optical and I have to say, the quality is unmatched for the price and the shipping is lightening fast. I got compliments daily on my last pair so when I updated my eye glass Rx I knew I needed to return to Hip for my next pair. These glasses are comfortable and very sturdy. They fit well on me (PD 61) without being too loose. My only issue is that the pattern on the acetate is lopsided and there’s a large black spot on one half so the pattern isn’t even across the glasses and customer service wouldn’t let me exchange them for a new pair. Because of that I probably won’t wear these glasses as often as my pairs from other brands where the tortoise pattern is more even across the glasses. But aside from that these are a solid pair of glasses.
These are the glasses I’ve been looking for for YEARS!!!! They are made well, look amazing, the Rx is correct, and Hip Optical’s customer service is second to none!!! I will be ordering again.

My prescription is perfect! This is my 3rd pair and I'm absolutely mad about Hip Optical. The Taro is a perfect fit on me. They are not heavy, nor do they slip. I love the material, and I hope it doesn't break down and start causing little dark marks on the side of my nose. To sum it up, perfect prescription, great look, and excellent quality.
